Upcoming 2017 Fall Concert Events in Orlando

Orlando is central Florida’s hub for a variety of talented musical acts that make their way down south on national tours. If you’re planning a trip to Orlando this fall, you may want to take advantage of some of the musical touring artists that are coming through the area. There are so many different kinds of concert events to choose from, so finding a concert that fits your style shouldn’t be hard!

Here a 5 concert events that are coming up this fall in Orlando:

Modest Mouse

This indie rock band came together in Washington State in 1993 and would acquire a following, along with critical acclaim, well before their big hit song, “Float On.” If you are a fan of melodic indie rock, see Modest Mouse perform at Hard Rock Live. The venue is located at 6050 Universal Blvd. The show starts at 8:00 PM on September 8th, and tickets are on sale for anywhere between $43.00 and $53.00.

Mumford & Sons

This performance at the Amway Center at 400 W Church Street will be one of three headline shows by Mumford & Sons in Florida this September. It is the first time that the band has performed in the state since 2013. Mumford & Sons has released three studio albums, with two of them debuting at number one in both the UK and the US. They have also have won multiple awards over their career. The show starts at 7:30 PM and tickets are between $42.00 and $62.00.

Christopher Cross

Fans of adult contemporary music will get a chance to see one of the 1980s' leading balladeers: Christopher Cross. The writer of classics like, “Sailing” and “Arthur's Theme” will be performing at the Walt Disney Resort on October 5, 2017. Cross has continued to write music and to tour, since his 1980 eponymous platinum album. Come see him perform old and new songs.

Bruno Mars

Hawaiian pop artist and Grammy award-winning songwriter, Bruno Mars is coming to the Amway Center on October 14th. With hit songs such as, “Nothin’ on You” and “Uptown Funk,” the Amway Center will be alive with a variety of influential styles, from hip-hop, pop, and soul music. The show begins at 8:00 PM, and tickets can be bought via Ticketmaster, anytime between now and the show.

Santana

Carlos Santana is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and has had a 50-year career. With one of the most distinctive playing styles, Santana is a pioneer of Afro-Latin blues and had multiple platinum records along with Grammy awards. Santana will be playing at the Amway Center on October 26. He will be backed up by the Santana band, which includes his wife, Cindy Blackman Santana on drums along with Andy Vargas, David K. Mathews and others. The show begins at 7 PM and tickets start at $67.00.
