When is the Best Time To Visit Orlando?

Posted by Sharon Harley on Feb 19, 2014 1:47:00 PM

One of the most frequently asked questions we receive from guests planning a big vacation:
When is the best time to go to the theme parks?

The answer is really simple, whenever you can next make it!

No matter when you come you will have a fabulous time in the Sunshine State, but there are 3 main things that most first timers appreciate our advice on.  The weather, the crowds and what special events are running.
The weather is the easiest to fix first.  Florida enjoys all year good weather generally.  Sure the State needs water and it can arrive in style, but most often than not it is over and done with in less than an hour.
The warmth is mostly year round, although occasional cooler weather can drift in during the late Autumn and Winter months for a few days or so, but even so, it is often still better than most Northern summers!

The crowds can vary hugely, depending on the season or day of the week.  Our advice is not to get too hung up about the crowds, but definitely make the most of great websites like that offer really good crowd calendar tools.
Our favorite Crowd Tip comes from, they advise sticking around if a famous downpour turns up over your theme park!  Once it has passed, you can bank on the fact that at least half of the park guests are on their way home, while you enjoy a much quieter theme park in the gorgeous sunshine!

Orlando has many great seasonal events in and around the theme parks, so check out what's going on when you are next visiting the most magical place on earth!
