The Invictus Games Orlando 2016 will shine a light on the holistic recovery and rehabilitation that occurs through sport for the wounded, ill, and injured Service men and women who participate in them. It was an amazing evening with HRH Prince Harry, Michelle Obama, George Bush and Morgan Freeman all taking part in the opening ceremony, during which each of them took to the stage and shared their own affinity to these games. James Blunt, who has also served his country, gave a great live performance as well. By far the most inspiring part of the evening, however, was listening to MSgt Israel "DT" Del Torro Jr. who told his own personal story of recovery from horrific injuries inspired by the love of his young son. Against all the odds, he not only recovered but went on to become a para world class athlete in shotput, javelin, discus, powerlifting and cycling.
