Forensic Night at the Skeleton Museum in Orlando

If you enjoy watching crime shows and playing the role of a detective, then this event is for you. The SKELETONS: Museum of Osteology.

Learn investigative techniques used by law enforcement and forensic scientists to solve crimes. Teams of 2-5 members will work on six different cases involving replica human skulls from a real investigation. Personal discretion is advised. This event is quite popular and quickly sells out. You can review available dates and purchase tickets online.

An Interactive Experience

Participants will enjoy a 90-minute interactive experience during which they will focus on identifying three types of trauma. This includes gunshot (ballistic), sharp force, and blunt force. The event will focus on the tools and scientific methods used in determining a cause of death in a murder investigation.

The forensic night event also includes:

  • An informal question and answer session with museum educators
  • Free scavenger hunts
  • Free parking
  • A free small dessert is offered for their February event

This event makes for a fun—albeit unusual—date night! If this sounds like something you'd like to attend, purchase tickets for you and your partner-in-crime today. If your group is less than five people, you might be paired with another group, allowing you to meet others who enjoy amateur detective status.

In addition to forensic night, the museum also offers "Sketching with Skeletons." This is usually held during the last week of the month and draws artists and photographers. It is a great way to network with others who share your passion.
