Craft Beer Breweries to Visit in Orlando

Orlando is steadily becoming an epicenter for craft breweries and craft beer bars. In just five years, the city went from fewer than ten such businesses to over 25. Such a multitude of options offers a variety of Florida blends inspired by the Sunshine State's reputation for fun and sunshine.

The following are just a few of our favorite must visit Orlando craft beer breweries to sip at on your next trip:

Ocean Sun Brewery

This new brewery just opened its doors in March 2016 and it's already becoming an Orlando favorite. Enjoy a powerhouse of flavor with this brewery's special five-barrel system with fun beer names like Sunny Day in Helles, a sweet and malty option. Traveling with your dog? No problem. Ocean Sun Brewery has a pet-friendly interior.

Ten10 Brewing

Located in Ivanhoe Village in downtown Orlando, Ten10 boasts a fun atmosphere with a revolving list of live acts. Their craft beers are noted for their pure, clean, and locally sourced ingredients. This includes beers made from fruit and coffee mixes that have been fermented and aged at the nearby Quantum Leap Winery.

Hourglass Brewery

The Hourglass Brewery was started by two high school best friends who tested their own home-brews for years before going into business together. They currently have 60 kinds of beers on their rotation, although generally only nine are offered at any given time.

Cask & Larder

This larger restaurant and bar is a great pick for bigger groups. Enjoy Southern-influenced cuisine -- including oysters, okra, and fish fry -- in the spacious dining area while watching the brewing process in an adjoining glassed room. This brewing room features a comfortable eight-person table for beer tasting and private events.

Crooked Can

Located just outside of Orlando in the Winter Garden suburb, Crooked Can is known for selling beer exclusively in cans and kegs to protect their brew from UV rays. Their brewing process is headed by award-winning brewmasters, a process that leads to perfection in each batch. One of the all-time favorites here is the High Stepper IPA.
