A Guide to Disney’s FastPass+ for Your Next Orlando Vacation

Gone are the days of having to stand in lines for rides at the Disney parks! Now with the FastPass system in place this has radically changed the way you can plan your day in the parks. Before Fastpasses, everyone had to wait in line for every single ride, with some of the lines taking over two hours! A Disney day out often became fraught with leg ache after all that standing around.

Despite the Fastpass system being a game changer, this has now been surpassed by the FastPass+ system which is even better. The old FastPass system was good, but it did mean that someone had to run around the park early in the day to get the first pass which then allocated you a one hour slot some time later in the day. Sadly, we were only ever allocated a single FastPass and once your FastPass was spent, you had to physically visit the next ride to sign up for the next slot.

The FastPass+ system is a different ballgame altogether as you can sign up for FastPasses online as soon as you know your ticket ID. This is not only much more convenient as you don’t need to visit the ride, show, or Character Greeting as soon as you get to the park. Instead, this now gives you so much more peace of mind knowing you are all booked up even before flying out to Orlando. An even better advantage is that the “One FastPass at a time” system is now extended to three per day!

To reserve your FastPass+ passes, simply visit Disney.com and start planning your whole vacation from the comfort of your own home knowing that by the time you arrive in Orlando, you’ll be all prepared and ready to have the most magical Disney experience without any fuss.
