4 Places to Go for a Luxury Shopping Experience in the Orlando Area

Orlando offers far more than just theme parks and warm weather. One of the big reasons that visitors flock to the city every year is the shopping. Orlando offers world-class shopping with numerous designer brands available.

Mall at Millenia

This mall is home to 150 high-end retailers. The companies that call this 1.2 million square-foot shopping space home include famous brands, Gucci, Prada, and Lacoste. In addition to the fantastic shopping experience, there are also dining options galore. Visitors get to eat at upscale restaurants like PF Chang’s, California Pizza Kitchen, and the Cheesecake Factory. The Mall at Millenia offers various amenities that include valet parking and taxi services. There is also free parking surrounding the mall.

The Florida Mall

If you want an even greater range of stores and dining options, the Florida Mall might be right for you. With over 1.7 million square feet of shopping and dining space, along with a list of retailers that includes Macy’s and Dillard’s, the Florida Mall offers luxurious shopping and dining. It also features several exclusive stores such as the Crayola Experience and the Disney Store, both of which should be on your must-visit destination lists, if you have kids. There are also amenities like valet parking available. Note also that Walt Disney World is only a few minutes away.

Orlando Premium Outlets

If you want to avoid the larger crowds at the malls mentioned above and are not opposed to traveling a few minutes outside of downtown, try Premium Outlets on International Drive or their Vineland Avenue location. The Vineland Avenue location is usually even less crowded than the International Drive one. Here, you get the opportunity to shop for a variety of premium brands at lower prices. Both Premium Outlet locations feature American Eagle Outfitters, GAP, Adidas, and other established store brands.

East End Market

If you want to experience Orlando food culture, East End Market is the place to do it. This market is located a few minutes northeast of downtown Orlando. There you will find the city's food hub that showcases local food entrepreneurs. East End Market houses about a dozen merchants, along with a variety of retail shops. Enjoy dishes made from fresh, local produce from Florida & Co, along with desserts from Gideon's Bakehouse, and juices from Skyebird.
