Events to Check Out in Kissimmee, FL this February 2017

Looking for activities to keep you busy during your trip to Kissimmee this February? Whether you’re looking for something relaxing, something, fun or something romantic for Valentine’s Day, there’s certain to be an event or two to match your interests! To help you sort through the long list of events, we’ve compiled this month’s unique festivities, as well as an assortment of recurring activities in Kissimmee we think might catch your interest:

The Seven Seas Food Festival at SeaWorld runs for 14 consecutive Saturdays starting on February 11th, and going through May 13th. The festival features coastal cuisines such as Asian, Korean, Mediterranean, and many others. A wide of array of wine, specialty cocktails, and local and international craft brews will also be included. Enjoy your favorite live artists and comedians, featuring acts such as: Lynyrd Skynyrd on February 11th, Lee Brice on February 18th , and Bill Engvall on February 25th, and many others throughout the festival.

Hosted February 12th at Community Presbyterian Church in Kissimmee, this event is part of the larger Celebration Foundation Concert Series, which includes participants from any number of genres. Intended to honor local arts in Florida and attract the attention of the nation, every participating musical organization is amongst the best in the region.

The eighth year of this Valentine’s Day tradition, and a great choice for anyone who enjoys a stroll, jog, or run and experience Kissimmee for a fun day event. Participants will travel along the shores of Lake Tohepekaliga and pass by some of Kissimmee’s most historic buildings downtown. There’s no need to rush—walkers and strollers are more than welcome in this event.

A yearly event improved this February by a partnership with Florida Beer Festivals, the Kissimmee Sunshine Regional invites participants from across Florida and the rest of the nation to compete in a sanctioned 3-category cook-off. If some of the best red, verde, and salsa chilis in the country aren’t enough to entice you, then the sampling of seasonal beers, craft beers, and microbrews from near and far, local and international just might.

Want to get in touch with your creative side this February? Kissimmee’s Osceola County Welcome Center and History Museum invites guests for a music-themed paint night on the 22nd, to be followed by a private after-hours tour of the museum and its new music-themed exhibit. Supplies, food, and beverages will be supplied.

Kissimmee’s proximity to so many exciting Florida locations makes it a prime destination for visitors—and home to countless daily, weekly, and monthly events.
